Peter A. Portley and William F. Sullivan have practiced law together since 1974. They met as freshmen at the University of Florida in 1961 where they were fraternity brothers and roommates. Mr. Portley began his practice in Pompano Beach in 1968 after graduating from St. John's University, School of Law in New York, and Mr. Sullivan joined him upon his release from active duty with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate Generals Corp in 1974. Their offices were located on Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach until the move to their present location in Lighthouse Point in January 2000.

Since their admissions to the Bar, both men have been actively engaged in the practice of law and have earned a reputation for professional competence and integrity. They have also been committed to community affairs and devoted substantial time and effort to civic and charitable causes in the South Florida community.
